About Sibyllae and Contact

I am currently reading this (children's book lol) Hugo Cabret illustrated AND written by Brian Selznick. The artwork captures me; I absolutely love it. It is one of the most BEAUTIFUL books I have ever held, the design, fonts, and weight and color of the papers and backings are outstanding in every way. Just wonderful. The story is partly inspired by the life and work of Georges Méliès, creator of the world's first science fiction movie entitled "A Trip To the Moon" - circa 1902 (see it here).

Thank you Suz! I've always called him "shanti" too. Funny! Just remembered that. No wonder it felt like the right image to use here for this new year. And peace and new beginnings for everyone too. Hope you don't mind but I linked to you with the beautiful sacred heart image you created. Because it seemed to say "all things both human and divine". That's the best thing about art; in one image it can speak a hundred languages. BIGGEST HUGS EVER.

Tara marie, well I am honored. Truly honored. I cannot tell you how your work and imagery with your children and just your whole WAY of things has been an enormous inspiration to me as a woman and mother. In fact, I even have you linked all over this place. You should know, for whatever it's worth that you have inspired so many people. You and beloved Emma which really she is beyond any and all words. I swear you must be a madonna (in my eyes you are). thank you so much!
